Family trip to Fraser Hill (071208-081208)

First and foremost, I would like to congratulate all the 8 youths (Hui Xian, Xue Yuan, Bertin, Ah Qi, Yi Zhen, Kent, Samuel and Yan Hoe) who got baptised yesterday night!

Back to my trip. I sort of enjoyed it. Yea! It's "sort of". Firstly, I dislike the journey. It's really what people say "a rough and winding pathway". Going up the hill is certainly a horrible one. I nearly puke. When we got up there, we went for lunch at a Malay stall. It's delicious and the price was quite reasonable. Then, we took a walk to the town. I think it's around 1km or so. Then we went to check in (Pine Resort) and visit our room! We got to climb STAIRS to reach up there. And it was time-consuming and energy-consuming. All the walking in this trip really was SCARY! I've never walked like so much in just 2 days! Climb up and down the stairs. Dad was super exhausted after the climbing. Poor thing! After visiting the whole apartment of ours, we took some rest. Being my brother, he slept like a pig. Around 3pm, we went for sauna. My cousin sister, my mum, my mum's maid and me enjoyed it. First time in my life, I sweat in a sauna! Weird right? Maybe my sweat glands got some problem. Anyway, I sweat! After sauna, I got to climb up the stairs again and take my bath. So relaxing! After that, my uncle suggested we go for a tour around Fraser Hill. So, we went down the stairs again and toured. It was raining. So, we could only stay in the car and look from the inside. We went to the Ye Olde Smoke House but wasn't allowed to enter. Too bad! We finished the tour like in half an hour. Fast right? Then we went back to have our dinner. The service was horrible! Remember, whenever you go to Fraser Hill, DON'T stay here. The place is not well maintained, dusty, +++. And the service was even worse. We booked the sauna for 3 to 4. He said he forgot to record. And the squash court was turned into a 'table tennis + caram board + dart + chess board' room. When we had our dinner, it was worse! They served us rice that wasn't fully cooked! And they asked us to sit outside of the cafeteria because they don't have enough tables. Cool right? What type of management is this!? After dinner, we went to the reception and booked for our next day's activities. We booked 5 mountain bikes and sauna. Then, we headed back to our room. Stairs again! But, it's okay after having such heavy meal. All the "children" went to one of our rooms and had singing session. The maid joined us too. She's super sporting! She taught us to do aerobic in the sauna room. Haha.. We played "bluff" and Scrabble. But my little cousin brother insisted to play. So, I gave him my place. And I went out to the dining hall for chinese tea! The adults were having them. It's so nice to have them in a cold place like Fraser Hill. It's so freezing cold and it was raining. Lagi teruk! I slept at midnight to watch a chinese drama. Hehe..

Second day. We got ready and had our breakfast in the cafeteria. It was Malaysian cuisine buffet. Everyone said that the breakfast was the only thing that we were satisfied. After breakfast, we went for a walk. Then, they started playing caram and table tennis. I waited patiently for my sauna. When it was time for biking time, I changed my mind and decided to join them before going for sauna. But, the bikes' brake aren't working. You expect us to cycle without any brakes? Crazy! So, I went back to the "squash room" and waited. Coincidentally, there were 2 family camps there. Dad and I visited one of the camps and looked at their musical instruments and P.A system. All also branded stuffs. Don't play play! Finally, the time has come for SAUNA! Again, the reception forgot about it. But, luckily mum was smart. She purposely went there earlier and reminded him to open the sauna for us. So, I climbed up the stairs again and changed and went to the sauna room. Super forgetful! How to survive like that? After sauna, we headed back to the room and started packing. After checking out, we took some photos quickly and left as there were certain time for us to go down. We had lunch at KKP (Kota Kubu something) and headed back to Ipoh. Had a good sleep in the car. :) Uncle told me to visit Fraser Hill next year. And I replied by saying I will consider if there is cable car or helicopter. And I want to change my place to stay. No more Pine Resort! Photos will be up soon in the next post. Stay tune.

Twilight

OMG!! It's a wonderful and marvellous movie. Such a romantic show!!! No regrets.. NO REGRETS!!! Robert Pattinson is just so darn cute! And the storyline is so good! I went there with some of my classmates. Nicole and I had a deal - we're going to watch the next few episodes together. Nicole, keep your promise ya! I'll wait for them to be released.

Synopsis:

When Bella Swan's (Kristen Stewart) mother starts traveling with her new husband, the 17-year-old leaves her home in Phoenix and returns to live with her father in tiny Forks, Washington. After the endless sun of Arizona, Forks' misty grey climate is quite exotic to Bella—as are her new classmates, the Cullen family. Impossibly good-looking and extremely private, they are unlike anyone she has ever met—in more ways than she realizes.

The Cullens are a family of immortal blood drinkers. For decades—centuries for some of them—they have disciplined themselves to consume only animal blood, living the vampire equivalent of a "vegetarian" lifestyle. They hide under the Olympic Peninsula's cloudy sky, living as normal a life as possible and keeping to themselves to protect their secret.

Bella becomes especially fascinated with Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), but her new classmate keeps her at arm's length. In truth, his attraction to her is overwhelming and he fears that his vampire nature will overcome his self-control. Bella is the soul mate he has searched 90 years for, but her scent threatens to send him into an uncontrollable feeding frenzy.

Unable to resist spending time with Bella, Edward reveals himself to her in the hope that his secret will repel her, but the teenager only becomes more infatuated. Soon the young couple is inseparable and Edward's internal struggle intensifies in the face of Bella's consuming desire to become one of them. As Bella discovers more about Edward's world, she throws herself headlong into a thrilling and terrifying romance, attracting the attention of a group of nomadic vampires who lack the Cullens' squeamishness about human blood and target her as their next victim.

Twilight is a worth watching movie. Go watch with your friends or partners or who so ever. It's a good show!

By the way, I passed my undang test! Hehe.. :) Don't worry. I'm a very safe driver. In other words, I'm a pemandu berhemat.

My second day of freedom

Had a good night sleep yesterday but it wasn't enough AT ALL!!! Forced to get up at 6 something again cause my instructor came to pick me up at 7.15. And yes! Off we go to LSA for the Kurikulum Pendidikan Pemandu (KPP). Sat in there for 5 HOURS!!! Of course there's a 1/2 hour break in the middle. It was boring, time-consuming, making me sleepy, etc. And I like this "it was a long, pointless thing" (contributed by Matthew.. haha..). And another one contributed by Liew Kar Wai - "remember to bring your chips!". I hope I could have it in there. Sigh. Too bad, even sweets also I had to eat secretly. Haha.. Anyway, I've went through it. I'm gonna have my exam on Tuesday or Wednesday. If I pass, I can have my taklimat on Thursday and then my L license on Friday! Woohoo!!! That is if I can pass. Haha..

After the long and boring thing, my instructor sent me to church for EY. With an exhausted body and a mind that was going to doze off, I sat in there. Thanks to YEW WENG - the record breaker - who finished his sessions in liess than 20 minutes!!! And off we (me, Bernice and Ah Ling) go to Salim to treat my stomach who was "grumbling". Haha.. Hmm.. Never felt that roti canai and maggi goreng could be that delicious! And mind you! It's my second meal of maggi in a day. Woohoo!! My sayang!! Haven't been eating it for like 3 weeks [mum's policy :( ]. Anyway, I had 2 today and it's DELICIOUS!!! Keke..

Gonna sleep soon. I miss my bed and my piggy. Hehe.. Good night and sweet dreams everyone!

A very very very tiring day

I've been out almost the whole day. And I'm very tired. I didn't know that it's so tired after SPM. I didn't have a good sleep yesterday. And I had to wake up at 6 something this morning. I got ready and followed mum to work. Went to have breakfast with brother and mum, send brother to the bus and then off I go to the dental clinic. Did some scaling and walked back to mum's office (alone!). Unfortunately, when I was waiting for the traffic light to turn red (so that I can cross the road.. I'm a good pedestrian okay!), it so happened that there was a police truck with lotsa accused or prisoners (or whatever you call it) were in there. They were supposed to be sent to the "lokap". And they just looked and stared at me. I walked faster and dashed to my mum's room. Whew.. That was scary. This is what happens when your mum works in a court! Should I be thankful or not?

During lunch time, mum sent me to Jusco. Had a "date" with the youths. Went for a movie. But 2 different movies. Andrew and Fei Wong, being my "bodyguards", of course accompany for Madagascar 2 lar! Then the others (Shireen, Ah Qi, Ah Kai, Amelia Ling, Bernice and Kar Wai) went for Igor. That was in my movie list but now I'm gonna cancel it off. Cause they said it's boring. So, Igor, off you go! Bye bye! Madagascar 2 is definitely a worth-watch show!!! It's meaningful, humourous, interesting, good storyline, etc. The part which I love the most is the part where Melman the giraffe confessed to Gloria the hippo. It's so darn touching and romantic!!! When will it be my turn? Haha.. Nah..! Just crapping..! Such a nice show, I can't believe that someone actually got to doze off (you know who I'm talking right?). After the movie, went for some "walk walk" and headed to search for ice-cream (Kar Wai's idea). We ended up in a homemade ice cream shop. Gosh! There won't be a second time! Even if there is, I'll just have drinks.. just drinks. Headed home after that. After shower and meal, Andrew picked me up from home and headed to church for the Youth Rally practice. Then continued with jamming session. Went home early cause I was really tired and not in the mood to "jam". Plus, I've got to wake up 6 something in the morning tomorrow again for my undang as my intructor's gonna pick me up at 7.15 tomorrow. Gosh! A long and tiring day.. but it's a meaningful one. :)

Congratulation.. and celebration.. and jubilation.. and party!!!

Haha..

Today's my freedom day. I've got like so much to do. Gonna go out for Madagascar 2 tomorrow with some youths in the afternoon and practice for youth rally as well as jamming at night. Gonna go for undang session on Saturday. Gonna sit for undang on Monday. Gonna go out for movie again with classmates on Tuesday. Gonna go out to shop for synthesizer with katan and chow on Thursday. Gonna go back to school on Friday. Gonna go for holidays and stuffs. Woohoo!!! Fun!!! As today is my "birthday" (according to my dad), we have a scrumptious dinner. It's not those food like we usually have in restaurants, we have pizzas today!!! And brother preparedmushroom soup. Don't worry. It's safe! I'm still surviving here. I'm just kidding. But yea.. it's fun to be free from studies at the moment till around May or June next year. During this period of holiday, I'm gonna spend some time to do some studies (spiritual). I've got some books which I've dumped aside for some period of time. Procrastination is the thief of time. So, I'm gonna procrastinate no more! Hehe.. I hope it works this time. Hehe..

~Hmm.. delicious.. (eh! not that word please!!!)~

~the mushroom soup bro prepared (under the supervision of mum of course)~

~pepperoni delight (from NIE)~

~Italian-Japan Pan Pizza~
What are those for? To celebrate my independence la! What else? Haha.. After three weeks without my baby instant noodles (mum banned the food during my exam), it's so nice to eat something that's fast (as in fast food?). I just feel so.. so.. so.. nice. Don't know how to describe. Hehe.. Those exam days are just so hard to stand. Going back home after the papers, thinking what to study and revise for the next paper, it's just not fun! But now, it's totally a different story already. I've got wings to fly and to soar like an eagle or hawk or whatever it is. I've got freedom (still limited). I've got all the free time that I've longed for. I've got months of holiday where I can do so many things. Wootwoot!!! May God help me to make full use of my time. Amen
