Sorry for the MIA

I've been MIA for quite some time. Haha.. Thanks to the internet connection that banned blogging. Sigh.

Many things have happened. Happy, sad, shocking, disappointing, depressing, emo-ing, etc. moments have all been keyed in inside my computer. Things have made my heart broken. Things have made me grow. Things have made me confirmed that life is not always and never a bed of roses. Things have made me recalled that God is FOREVER by our side and WILL NEVER say that He doesn't want us. His mercies are new every morning. Things have made me differentiate who are true friends and who are not. Things have made me realised that I've got a BIG family supporting me. Life has really been a roller-coaster. Life has really been busy. But, life will never be wasted if you put it into full use.

God has really been gracious to my family - brother sent to UK for studies, me to get a government full scholarship (with a secured job after I graduate), parents still around and happily staying in Ipoh. What more do I ask for? My future was written in His book even before I was born. Everything is recorded. Who would take so much care to notice me? Only Him. Who would take much care to listen to me even in the middle of the night? Only Him. Who would take much care to figure out what I'm thinking even when I'm in my silence? Only Him. I really can't find a single word to thank Him.

I just noticed that I did not really write about what I have been doing in Perlis. Hmm.. I am currently attending Perlis Grace Centre (PGC), which is situated behind Ayamas Kangar. Hehe.. What a desription huh? That's the landmark. Feel free to drop by whenever you come to Perlis. I play the piano in church and back-up for singing. Playing the piano more though. Church friends have been really friendly and nice. Every Sunday without fail, they will pick me up from campus and send me back to campus after service. I get to taste some homecooked food on Sundays, too. That's when I miss mum and grandma's cooking. Aunties and uncles in PGC are VERY friendly. The first day I stepped into the church, we talked as if we've known each other for years. I felt at home. Though the numbers are small, I believe that God will make the numbers multiply in His time. Youth numbers are few, too. Many of them have left for studies and stuffs. Anyway, I still got to know a few of them before they left or continue their studies overseas or outstation.

Campus life~ Hmmm.. What to say about that? Monday assembly at 7.30am. Then, it will be continued on with classes until 5pm. Tuesdays will be aerobic exercises at 6.30am. Classes will be until 5pm. Sports will be from 5 to 7pm. Wednesdays and Thursdays are about the same. Classes will be from morning 8am to evening 5pm (with some breaks in between of course). Friday is the best! 7.45am will be moral session, where all the non-Muslims will gather together to have moral class (or rather moral lecture). Haha.. Class until 11.15am followed by tutorial until 12.15pm. Then, it will be free time till Monday! Weekends are normally spent in Kangar town to do some shopping for groceries or online in fastfood outlets. Online doesn't mean facebook-ing, okay? It means homework, homework and more homework! (of course some facebook-ing as well :P)

We also have Chinese pasar malam here. It may be the small but it feels good! We like to visit the tong sui stall. We have got white fungus(bak muk yi), soya and "lo hon guo". It's only when you don't get to drink that you will treasure it. I treasure this stall a lot!

In Kangar, I have some favourite stalls, too. In Mahkota (or what we known as "huang guan"), the sotong bakar, taufu bakar and ikan bakar are superb!!! When eaten with the special made sambal, one word - AWESOME! The fried rice stall is also one of the famouse choice among the college and uni students. Another one is the assam laksa in the hawker lots. That laksa is the best in town! When served with their ice kacang, it seems like they're partners! Another favourite stall of many is "rou juan fan" or "yuk guin fan" in Embassy. If you have appetite as small as mine, you can't finish the food. If I have that plate of rice for lunch, it will be my lunch and dinner. Haha.. In Embassy, there's another stall that serves Indonesian curry rice. I've tasted it before and it's delicious. Oh! Another place called OK Restaurant. The food is good, price is very reasonable. Been there once, want to go more. Hey.. sounds like I'm giving reports on food. Haha.. I must put a stop to it. Ok.. Last one.. we also have Seremban "xiu pao" and orange chicken rice. =D

So much for the food. Now, I proudly present to you.. our biggest shopping complex - **APPLAUSE** THE STORE!!!!!! Haha.. We also have places that I think you've not heard before - Aneka (cheap for food), TenTen (clothings and household), Hari-Hari (clothings), Yen Gallery (gift shop! my favourite!). We also have 2 KFC outlets, 1 Pizza Hut and 1 Ayamas. No McD.. my baby.

Oh! And lately, we've been surprised with the presence of SECRET RECIPE!!! Okay. You may think that this is just a small thing. But, to tiny little small Kangar town, it is a big thing man! You will never imagine the crowd that was there during the first week when it opened. Haha!!! I'm sure everyone was so darn excited! I hope that this shop will last.. at least until I graduate and leave the town. Haha..

I think it's long enough.. =)
